 My taste in music and artists is virtually all over the place. I listen to a large variety of genres, with my top five being  Rock, Jazz/Soul, Alternative, Electronic, and Hip-Hop/Rap. I have found music to have an effect on my mindset and everyday life, some what of an emotional bond. It gets me threw my daily life and tasks, while also up lifting my mood. But it can also be a downer, A stress reliever, or help/put me in any state of emotion. I am very easily influenced, by art the most. Art can be explained as many different things, but to me its what you make it out to be. I use it to express who I am, whether that form is in a drawing, a song or words. Music really helps me truly express myself, because I can make it my own.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                While my life progresses as a whole, I have found it fairly hard to cope with. All of my emotions, all of the ups and downs, all of the challenges I face on a daily basis. But music is just a large distraction from reality, and I'm sure I am not the only one who feels that way. Everyone has their own ways to cope, some good and some bad. Music is definitely not my only type of distraction from reality. I love keeping myself busy by writing, reading, researching, or spending time with loved ones. 

          Good afternoon blog. This week has been truly amazing, even with the downs. I have spent time with my family, reconnecting with old friends and it has honestly been amazing. I'm proud of myself, and proud to look back on my past and see how much I have grown from it. Life is changing rapidly fast as I get older and experience new aspects of life. I am proud of myself for never giving up even on my lowest days, and where I am at now. I scored very well on a test today, I've been learning to play a new song, I've been starting to eat on more of  a normal schedule, I have gotten back into old hobbies, I have created new friendships and repaired old ones. I am excited to see what is coming next for me.
