This is where I will post new songs/bands I find an interest in.
At the moment one of my favorite artists has to be David Bowie, I find out something new about him everyday. I have listened to him since I was pretty young, with my dad playing me and my brother 'changes' for as long as I can remember. Since I have gotten older my dads music taste has rubbed off onto me, but i still find a way to enjoy every genre.

I feel like basically every song on "The Wall" is just therapeutic. Just putting in headphones and listening to comfortably numb puts peace in my mind. And the guitar solo at the end. Beautiful album, I could listen to the whole hour and 30 minutes of it 1000 times.
Another honorable mention is "Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" by The Smashing Pumpkins. My top three from that album has to be 1979, Zero, and Beautiful. The lyrics behind Beautiful are so meaningful to me. I love the tone, the instrumental, the everything about it. I tend to often find myself drifting off listening to this song, and just listening deeply into the meaning of the lyrics and making it a reality. You could say it's "Beautiful".
Lately I have been very into Nirvana. I just love kurts voice, and the style of their music. I wish all music was still like that. The songs I have on repeat right now have to be In Bloom, Rape Me, and Dumb (live reading). You should check out some of Nirvana's live readings I highly recommend it, it really gives me A bigger picture on their music and style.
